Welcome to Deer Creek Retreat in Old La Sal! Enjoy breathtaking views of the La Sal Mountains from this brand new 3 bedroom home. Located in Old La Sal, we are the perfect mountain setting for your outdoor adventures! Our home features an open floor plan with space to relax and recharge. We're centrally located 25 minutes from downtown Moab, 30 minutes to Arches National Park, 50 minutes to Canyonlands National Park/Dead Horse Point & 2 hours from Telluride, CO.
The Space:
This property is a dream destination for both the travelers who enjoy staying on-site to relax and experience the amenities, and the travelers always on the go wanting to explore Moab’s rock formations, hiking trails, river rafting, mountain climbing, and off-roading.
Our home features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a large full stocked kitchen and open living area. The outside also has several seating areas to take in the sunrise/sunset and gather outside for a meal & bbq. The master bedroom has a king size bed complete with a large rain shower and double vanities ensuite. Two additional bedrooms (1 queen bed & 2 twin beds) share a common bathroom located in the hallway just off the main living space. The house is also stocked with a full size washer and dryer, walk in pantry and upgraded appliances.

Mesa Verde National Park, CO - 2 hours
** Please note that this property is at 7600 feet above sea level. Winter conditions require 4-wheel drive and know that the road is maintained by the county, plowing can be intermittent **

If I could rate this beautiful home ten stars I would! The home is perfectly described, pristinely cleaned and has everything to make you feel at home. It’s just far enough from Moab and most of the destinations we were planning on visiting but still secluded enough that you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere with nothing but the wildlife and stars to keep you company. My kids loved seeing the deer every night! Our host was on top of everything from our check-in to check-out, I never had to ask any questions because they had thought of everything and made it incredibly easy for us every step of the way. Me and my husband loved the waterfall shower so much we ordered one for our home bathroom! It was so nice after a long day of hiking to be able to come back and feel like you were in a resort that you had all to yourself. I’m sure there’s more good things I could write but I’ll leave it at this, anytime we travel to Moab we will absolutely be staying here!

Wonderfully spacious home. Main bathroom was so nice and roomy! Easy areas for cooking and dining. Loved seeing mule deer in the front yard.

Love this place! I recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet spot and beautiful scenery. It’s tucked into the LaSal mountains away from town. Location is approximately 30-40 mins from downtown Moab. We seat outside almost every night watching the sunsets or the storms roll in. The place is very nice, super clean and spacious. The bathrooms were so nice and having two was wonderful. There were 4 of us and we never felt like we were on top of each other. In fact it was like being at home. If you ride OHVs. The forest trails are right down the road from the house. We were able to link to a forest road that took us to Buckeye reservoir and campground Colorado. (You can get a CO permit online). This was such a great place for our family vacation. Jeff was very prompted in responses and so helpful. He even hire deer to hang out with us every night (JK😆).

We had a wonderful stay! The property was modern, beautifully designed, and truly felt like a home away from home. We especially loved the hotel-style main bathroom and all the thoughtful features throughout. The location was perfect - close to Arches National Park and Canyonlands, yet peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of central Moab. We would highly recommend staying here and would happily return!

This place is fabulous we love an Airbnb that feels like you have the whole world to yourself with no neighbors and that's what this gave us. Plus watching the sunrise and sunset over the mountains from the dining room window every day can't put a price on that. Thanks Jeff!!
